Mustang

Ford's one of the best car is Mustang.IT is one of the super fast race car and good looking car too.In 1962 he build the Mustang I-prototype, a V4 two-seater. However it had to be a four-seater and in 1963 the Mustang II showcar was riding at the American Grand Prix. The car was received passionately and became so popular, the Mustang was taken into production.
In order to keep production costs down, many of the Mustang's components were "borrowed" from the Falcon, including most of the drivetrain. In spring 1964 the Mustang was launched at the World Exhibition of New York and ... the Americans bought it ... !!
The Mustang was heavily advertised during it's development. In 1964, Ford ran simultaneous commercials on all three major television networks. Immediately, people "attacked" the Ford showrooms. Everyone was in a frenzy to be one of the first to own the Mustang.
The interior was sporty too, with two seats in the front and a little back-seat. It had a deep shaped steering-wheel and a dashboard with a horizontal speed-meter. which looked like the Falcon sedan speed-meter.
1965 brought a view changes for the Mustang. The biggest was a new Fastback model. Another was the in april 1965 introduced GT. Over 500.000 Mustangs were build for the year 1965.
On the racing-tracks all over the world the Mustang was a success.
A big motor in a small car was the reason the car felt better than all the earlier American cars on the racing track. It was'nt very fast for those days but now mustang is more fast and more good looking car and a cool car too.

Ford Cars

Ford Car History

Ford car is one of the best car in the world. It bulid race cars and normal cars too. They have many car.It was build in 1903.Ford car was build by Henry Ford.Early Ford motor vehicles were allocated a letter with model A fords being produced in 1903. Two of these cars were shown at a Motor show in London that same year and this inspired the creation of a sales agency in Long Acre, London. Cars were being produced in Detroit at a rate of only a few a day. By 1908 they were producing the Model S which was superseded by the well known Model T. In 1909 around 18000 model T fords were produced.
Henry Ford was a committed pacifist who spoke out against the First World War. He was instrumental in chartering a ship to sail to Europe with a group of prominent peace supporters in order to hold a conference with European leaders in the hope of stopping the war. The mission failed miserably but did result in Henry Ford's focus shifting from being totally concerned with his business to the needs of the common man and, in particular, his workforce.
It was in 1919 that Edsel Ford took over from his father. At this time Ford's competitors were coming up with new features for their vehicles in response to consumer demand. This led to Ford losing market share to General Motors and Chrysler. These competitors had opened new markets by introducing credit agreements for customers enabling them to buy vehicles by making regular monthly payments. Ford initially resisted this approach to sales but they eventually started to offer the same purchase arrangements in 1927.
Since the 1960's the Ford motor company have continued to innovate and deliver vehicles to the marketplace that meet the needs and demands of the users. Their commercial vehicles are highly regarded around the world and their famous Ford Transit, first introduced in 1965. This commercial workhorse has undergone several generations of redevelopment and numerous facelifts that have led to the Mark 7 Ford Transit which was awarded the International Van of the Year award in 2007.Now Ford car is runing high and maybe it will build more great car in future .And take more award.

Mazda Car History

Mazda car has great parformence .but it has a lond history .Mazda began as the Toyo Cork Kogyo Co., Ltd, founded in Japan in 1920. Toyo Kogyo moved from manufacturing machine tools to vehicles, with the introduction of the Mazda-Go in 1931, although they produced weapons for the Japanese military throughout the Second World War. The company formally adopted the Mazda name in 1984, though every automobile sold from the beginning bore that name. The first four-wheel car, the Mazda R360 was introduced in 1960, followed by the Mazda Carol in 1962.
The year 1960 was the birth of Mazda as an automaker. In just this decade, the marque progressed from a 16 horsepower (12 kW) keicar to a Wankel engined sports car, the Mazda Cosmo. Mazda also entered the United States market at the end of the decade.
Internationally, the 1970s were the heyday of Mazda as a performance leader. The Wankel rotary engine outperformed their piston-based competitors by a large margin, and Mazda made the most of the powerplant by putting it in almost every product they sold, from the Rotary Pickup to the RX-7, and even the large Luce sedan. The only exception was the Mazda Chantez keicar, because other car makers vetoed the move. However, the 1970s also saw Mazda's first financial crisis, which led to Ford taking a 25% stake in the company. The first RX-7 released in 1978 would be a strong image leader for Mazda, but actual sales revival would not come until the early 1980s.The 1980s saw Mazda transition from a niche Japanese player to a part of the global Ford empire. Having said that, the 80s saw the most mainstream success for Mazda. The early-80s 323 (GLC in North America) and 626 were massive hits, with the 323 taking the number one spot in Japanese car sales, overtaking the Toyota Corolla. (This is still very significant today whenever a non-Toyota tops the sales charts).Mazda also contributed to Ford's lineup, most notably with the MX-6-based Ford Probe. Mazda also began building the new-for-1988 626/MX-6 in the United States. U.S. production was initiated via a joint venture with Ford called AutoAlliance International.Mazda finished the decade with the revolutionary Eunos Roadster (Mazda MX-5 or Miata outside Japan) sports car (for the 1989 model year). This model revitalized the world sports car market, which was filled at the time with expensive, heavy GT cars. Despite complaints of plaigiarising the Lotus Elan, the Miata has been very successful till this day.The 1990s were a decade of decline for Mazda. Due to the high price, the third-generation RX-7 sold poorly (although continues to be a tuner car favorite), and the Miata could not sustain the company's sales. The rest of the lineup was poorly-received in the United States and Japan; their popularity in Europe didn't seem to make up for the losses.
In the late 1980s, Mazda embarked on a disastrous attempt to diversify its brand names. It chose to do so because market research revealed that the Mazda brand has the connotation of economic, budget cars both in Japan and abroad. With the aim of doubling its sales, Mazda launched three new brands in Japan, Eunos, Anfini and Autozam. Eunos was to have a counterpart overseas in the US-market Amati luxury division, and Xedos in Europe. However plans for Amati was pulled at the last minute, and the rumored V12-engined flagship was shelved. The number of brands was also an attempt to match Toyota and Nissan, both of which had multiple chains in Japan. A common opinion is that the sheer number of models had overwhelmed the company - in 1993 Mazda sold seven models based on the 626, yet they only amounted to 1/3 the sales achieved by the comparable Toyota. In other markets, Mazda's identity crisis saw it confused over which logo to adopt. The "Mazda" lettertype was introduced in 1975 as part of Japan's first CAD-assisted corporate identity redesign. In 1991 a new logo was introduced, but was soon swapped for a rounded-off version ("Eternal Flame") because the original had an uncomfortable resemblance to Renault's logo. The new version is consistently used in 1990s Mazdas, but never became as well known as the lettertype. To resolve this issue, Mazda commissioned for a new logo in 1998 ("Wings" or "Owl"), which it uses till this day and features in considerably larger sizes on every model.Mazda was widely criticised in Europe for the sheer blandness of its late-1990s designs, including the last 323 and 626 which compared unfavourably to the previous models. While technically superior, the 1998 replacement for the MX-5 (Miata) lost much of the purity of the original 1989 design, which is still preferred by many enthusiasts.Mazda and Ford continued joint efforts. In 1994, the Mazda B-Series line was split between an international (Mazda-designed) version and North American clone of the Ford Ranger. In 1998, Mazda and Ford opened a new plant in Thailand, AutoAlliance Thailand. Patterned after Mazda's Hofu plant, AAT is now an important manufacturing location for the company.2001 was a very difficult year for Mazda, as new models were in development and the company would have no new product until mid-2002. Once the new cars arrived, however, the company quickly turned around. Mazda 6/Atenza, RX-8, and Mazda 3/Axela proved popular and helped change perceptions of the brand. By 2004, Mazda had surpassed the ailing Mitsubishi in sales. The new MX-5 (the "Miata" name formerly used in North America has been dropped) debuted in autumn 2005 and is claimed to share no common parts with the previous model except for the side indicator repeaters used on European cars.Mazda car is one of the best car for use.It has great parformence...

Lexus Cars

Lexus Car History

Lexus car is a brand car in world it is a high parformence car and a good car to drive too.Lexus is a Japanese brand name used by the Toyota Motor Corporation for such export markets as North America, Middle East, Europe, Africa, Latin America, Asia and Oceania, for luxury automobiles. An image consulting firm presented a list of 219 names from which Vectre, Verone, Chaparel, Calibre and Alexis were top candidates. While Alexis quickly became the front runner (possibly due to the association with the Alexis Carrington character on the popular 1980s primetime drama ''Dynasty'') and later morphed to Lexus, the name has been attributed to the combination of the words "luxury" and "elegance." According to Toyota however, the name had no meaning and was just meant to be pleasing and easy to remember. Just prior to the release of the first vehicles, the database service LexisNexis obtained a temporary injunction forbidding the name Lexus from being used as they stated it might cause confusion. Upon reflection, the court lifted the injunction, deciding that most people had never heard of LexisNexis, and those that had, would not in all likelihood confuse a car with a database service.
Another view is that Lexus was the project name given by Toyota in the mid 1980's, as an acronym for Limited EXport United States. Many Lexus vehicles are manufactured in the Tahara, Japan plant, a highly sophisticated, computerized manufacturing plant awarded the title of the best automobile manufacturing plant in the world. The North American-market RX 330 (since the 2004 model year) is produced in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, the first Lexus plant located outside of Japan.Lexus is now considered one of the finest automobile makers in the world. Competitors Mercedes-Benz and BMW emphasize styling, safety, performance and innovation while Lexus maintains core values of luxury, service, value and superior reliability.
Lexus was inspired by the success of the ultra sporty Toyota Supra and the luxury Toyota Cressida models. Both the Supra and Cressida were rear wheel drive cars with a powerful (7M-GE/7M-GTE) type engine. The first Lexus-badged models, the V-8 powered LS 400 and the smaller, Toyota Camry-based ES 250, appeared in 1989.The flagship LS 400, known as the Toyota Celsior in the Japanese domestic market, had a unique design, sharing no major elements with previous Toyota vehicles, with a new 4.0 L V8 engine. It was widely praised for its silence, well-appointed interior, fine engine performance, outstanding build quality, and value. (In some markets, it was priced against mid-sized Mercedes-Benz and BMW models, while offering size, performance, and quality comparable to their full-size cars). It was generally regarded as a major shock to the European marques, but was criticized by automobile columnists for anonymous styling and a suspension regarded as too compromising of handling for ride comfort. Nonetheless, the LS 400 won several major motoring awards when released.
These attributes have been maintained in subsequent versions of the LS, including the LS 430, and the range has been expanded with other models (the Toyota Windom-based ES 330, the small, sporty, rear-drive IS 200 and IS 300 (based on the Japanese Domestic Market Toyota Altezza), the Toyota Land Cruiser-based LX 470 SUV, and the GS models, based on the Toyota Aristo). The world's second mass-production hybrid SUV was a Lexus (After the Ford Escape SUV in summer 2004). The SC 300/400 (based on Japanese Domestic Market Toyota Soarer) was Lexus' first coupe that made its way to the United States. Subsequently the second generation SC 430 became the first convertible ever to be offered by the company. Lexus has been the number one selling luxury nameplate in the United States for the past 5 years.
Lexus had a particularly sharp focus on service after the sale. The waiting areas in the service departments are very comfortable. They are complete with such amenities as a refreshment bar with snacks, juice, soft drinks, bottled water and a espresso/cappuccino machine. There is a business center that is soundproofed and stocked with computers and a fax machine. The service bay is lined with large picture windows to allow the customers to watch the repairs. The floor of the service bay is scrubbed daily and any spills are immediately mopped up. The tools are kept neatly in drawers and racks and not scattered as is usual in service departments
There has been speculation of a Lexus F1 operation in the near future, in line with its expansion into the luxury car markets, and increasing competition with BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Lexus may enter for the 2007 Formula 1 season as a engine supplier.
This car is great to drive and safe as well .

Mercedes-Benz Cars

Mercedes-Benz History

This car is a old car and a good car too.Not every one can buy this car it is high price car. When you think of excellence in the car industry, you think of Mercedes-Benz. The company has shown itself to be one of the top manufacturers in the world for quality, high-end cars. No other company has been able to touch all the bases as Mercedes has in luxury cars, buses, vans, trucks, and SUV's, along with its major involvement motor car racing.
Mercedes-Benz was originated in the 1880s by two men: Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz. They invented the internal combustion engine powered vehicle. What is funny about Mercedes-Benz is that the two originators never even knew each other, though their work was almost directly related. They both resided in Southwest Germany.
Daimler and his friend Wilhelm Maybach both help in inventing the four-stroke engine in Cannstatt, which is a district of Stuttgart. They worked never knowing that they would one day be one of the originators of a luxury automobile.Early in the 1890s, Daimler was building his cars at Unterturkheim. They were built and raced successfully. It was so successful that an Austrian dealer by the name of Emil Jellinek entered the cars in the races and often won. He decided to name the cars after his daughter whose name was Mercedes. He was very impressed with the work of Daimler and Maybach that he decided to make a large order from the two. The only stipulations were that he would decide some design modifications to be made, and that the cars were to be named after his daughter Mercedes. He also demanded that he would get the full resell rights to the countries: Austria, Hungary, France, Belgium and the United States. He believed so much in the cars, he decided to invest a large portion of his assets to the company.
Using Mercedes as the name of the cars made prevented legal problems. Before he even met Emil Jellinek, Daimler had sold the rights to his name and designs to companies overseas. This is the reason for high end cars that were built then and are still being built which are named Daimler. They are made and sold in England.Mercedes was going to have a factory in New York, but when a fire destroyed a former piano factory, it killed any hopes of an American-built Mercedes Benz.Originally, the two original designers of the luxury car didn't have a company together. They were actually rivals in the company world. Daimler had his company Daimler Motorengesellschaft and Benz had his, Benz and Cie. Having hard times in the 1920's created a pressure for the two companies to work together. They did end up doing just this. In 1926, the two companies merged and became Daimler-Benz AG. At this time, the company was producing Mercedes cars and trucks. The company's logo has become the symbol of luxury as far as cars are concerned. When you see a Mercedes logo, you think of excellence and class. The logo consists of a three point silver star, surrounded by a circle. This symbol represents Daimler's original wishes to create an engine that is small, reliable, and powerful. They are meant to be able to travel on land, air, or sea.Mercedes-Benz cars also have a reputation of being one of the best kinds of vehicles anywhere in the world. They usually make their cars with the purpose of quality over quantity. Mercedes has a focus on state of the art engineering. Many times, Mercedes will have a feature that will not be present in the company's competitor's vehicle for years. For this reason, Mercedes is one of the most expensive vehicles made, compared to competitors making similar, but not equal, clones. The company has created a reputation for quality and reliability equaled by none.Mercedes is also known for their sports cars. Models included are the supercharged SSK and Gullwing 300SL, which were produced in 1954.
Mercedes has teamed with McLaren to build a super car. They did this in 1993 when they released the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, which has a supercharged 8 cylinder engine. It eats up 5.5l of gas, while being very powerful. This car featured about 500 horsepower, and 780 nm of torque. Whatever your choice of cars, vans, buses or SUV's, Mercedes has something that will suit your needs. The company comes from a very prosperous past, and creates a reputation for being a step above the rest. As the needs of the consumer changes, so does the design of Mercedes. They continue to make a car for the driver, without losing focus on their goal of power and reliability. The racing side of Mercedes has also picked up in 2005 with the winning of many of the years racing. Mercedes-Benz, as a company, is strong, and they are going to be strong for many years to come. And this car will made more great car in future.
